Sainte-Sévère thus celebrates George Sand in this year of commemoration in the streets of the village, starting from the Maison de Jour de Fête.

George Sand, of course, never knew the world of cinema. Yet her personal story, alongside Musset and Chopin, has fascinated filmmakers worldwide. Similarly, many of her novels were adapted for film and television as early as 1912.
The Maison de Jour de Fête is offering a "CinéSand" exhibition in the streets of the village of Sainte-Sévère, a star of the 7th art thanks to Tati.
