In the surrounding area (< 15 km), you will discover Saché and the Maison de Balzac, the Château de l'Islette with its vast flowered park on the banks of the Indre where you can picnic, the troglodyte valley of Goupillières, the Château de Villandry and its Gardens, Rigny-Ussé, the Château Fort de Langeais, the troglodyte houses and the basketwork of Villaines les Rochers. Azay le Rideau has the advantage of being halfway between Tours and Chinon and offers a wide range of visits and walks on foot, bikes or on the water. You can also enjoy the gastronomic and culinary specialties of Touraine, such as rillons, goat's cheese, Rivarennes pear tapée or taste the wines and apple juices of Ridellois and the region.
