Whether passing through or staying longer, you will be charmed by the peaceful and green setting of this corner of the Berry countryside.
History fans will appreciate the immediate proximity to the historic centre of Châtillon, the castles of Palluau, Azay-le-Ferron, Valençay, the royal city of Loches, as well as Amboise and the Clos Lucé, Chenonceau less than an hour's drive away.
On the nature side, the countryside invites you to discover it: the Brenne Regional Natural Park (or Land of a Thousand Ponds) where observatories await enthusiasts of ornithology and big game, numerous hiking trails; the gîte is located on the route of the Cyclo Bohême (the Indre by bike), and for fishermen it is enough to cross the street to access the fishing spot on the banks of the Indre.
